KIDS

TASK Kids is held Tuesdays from 3:15 pm to 5 pm.  This is a service, Bible Study, and activity oriented group of school aged children (up to 5th grade).  And we have snacks!

 

Ms. Jacqueline Mason is glad to arrange child care for worship services on Sunday for younger children.  Contact her at 423-836-1547

 

Kid's Rock is our children's Sunday School that occurs during the 9 am service.  

 

Seasonally look for sports camps, Vacation Bible School and other fun events for kids.

SAFETY

Volunteers at all our Kids' ministries are trained to create an atmosphere where families can confidently leave their children at our events. Every volunteer is screened with a background check. Don't worry parents - we've got this!

 

New volunteers are welcome, but have to go through our safety training and background checks.

WHAT WE TEACH

Your kids will experience an age appropriate lesson that will teach them about God and His love for them. The teaching is interactive and utilizes multiple approaches for different learning styles. The goal at Sweetwater First Methodist Church is for kids to understand who Jesus is and how He can make a difference in their lives. They will also have a lot of fun!
